The annual vintage and new sports card show on
February 20-22, 2009, at the Harrisburg Mall was the most successful show in our
history, with a gift of $25,000 being provided to the Foundation for IUP towards the
Harrisburg Area Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund. The February show was highlighted with appearances by two
members of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Super Bowl XLIII championship team, James Harrison,
2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and Santonio Holmes, Super Bowl XLIII MVP.
Two former NFL greats, Paul Hornung and John Cappelletti also appeared at the show.
To date, over $122,000 has been raised from all previous sports card shows.
